Jonathan Kahanovitch has a bachelor's degree and post-graduate certificate from CUNY. He has performed for 20 years in Canada and the USA and taught for a decade. He currently resides and teaches in NYC in his Brooklyn studio and is accepting new students at the studio or in home by appointment. Dear student, I'm excited to respond to you about getting you started with guitar lessons. Let me introduce myself. My name is Jonathan, and I have been teaching for almost a decade, with the last 5 years in Brooklyn NY, at my studio which is conveniently located on New York at Carrol near the 2,3,4,5 trains and b44 and b43 bus lines. I love to play and teach classic rock guitar solos, as I played lead guitar for several years and love such artists as Clapton, Hendrix, Slash and more. As a drummer that has learned under the John Riley inspired curriculum, and more I bring a multi styled approach to the kit, and predominately Jazz influenced Rock drums. A bit more about me: I have a a bachelors degree and a postgraduate certificate from City University of New York. For the past decade, I have taught, and for two decades he have played and performed with many rock, blues, and jazz bands in the United States and Canada. As we progress,we can explore all styles, technical development, reading, and all your goals in a coherent and structured plan.
