Introduction
Hi, I'm Cory! I studied music and psychology at Pennsylvania State University. I have 20+ years experience as a composer, performer (guitar, bass, piano/organ, voice) and audio engineer. My family have always been educators and musicians, and combining these two areas especially brings me joy.
In all aspects of my educational approach, I merge passion for musical craft and practice with knowledge about how our minds learn, what best motivates students, and how kids, young adults and older adults differ in their cognition and ways of learning.

Cory is an amazing music teacher. My little one is turning 5 this year, and keeping young kids engaged can be a challenge, but Cory knows exactly how to meet them where they are. He makes learning fun and interactive, using creative tools like Lego pieces to help kids mark piano keys—turning lessons into a game while still teaching valuable skills. The combination of his teaching expertise and musical professionalism creates a fantastic learning environment. My child is learning so much while having a blast!
