- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discounted Monthly/Anytime Lessons Packages - With purchase before the first lesson of the each month those working with their regular schedule can enjoy the weekly lesson as usual and any month with 5 weeks in it you can enjoy a complimentary session on me! For those needing a bit more flexibility this package is also good for 4 anytime sessions not limited to the monthly calendar. Reviews/Referrals - Word of mouth referrals and reviews are always welcome when it comes to working with and advertising to new clients. For anyone who’s been working with me and feels inclined to leave a review on Thumbtack I’ll be happy to apply a one-time 10% discount to your next lesson/lessons package. As well as anyone who refers a new student that purchases a lessons package, both new and old students can enjoy a 20% discount on their next lessons package. Sliding Scale Rates - For anyone's income who has been negatively impacted due to COVID-19 please feel free to inquire about my sliding scale sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a consultation with the customer first so we can get to know one another a little better as well as talk about any previous experience, interests, and what sorts of goals we might be dreaming of. From there we book a first lesson to do a skill assessment and get a more complete picture of where we can go from there and what gaps we can fill in together.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with customers of all ages and motivations. Kids exploring a newfound interest in music, teenagers who want to start a rock band, adults starting music lessons for the first time, and those who are returning to it after a hiatus.
