Nice to work with Mark and his assistant. I need a new 220V line for my electric oven. Mark explained and response my questions in very detail and clear. They provided me a set of required paperwork before start of work, as this is important to me as a condo homeowner. They work smart to open holes on ceiling and wall as little as possible that is beyond my expectations. They are knowledgeable and know their work well, only completed in 3 hours and clean up everything. Price is reasonable in the market.

Details: No, there is no existing wiring • Install switch or outlet • 1 switch or outlet • Rooms with water access, like the kitchen • Drywall • Condo or apartment

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father started as an electrician during the USSR communist times in (now) Ukraine. During and after college he worked on the train tracks and after work had a lot of work wiring people’s homes during these times. When my parents arrived in NYC he worked for a contractor for a couple of years before starting his own business in 1996 which is now Apsha Mechanical along with my uncle’s company Kings Electric. The founding story and his hard work inspired me to become an electrician in 2014 and go to the proper training at a trade school after I finished high school. I have tried some other careers in my life (tech for an example) for a short time but always ended up choosing electrical work as my main career. After working for other companies gaining different experience for a few years I decided to work on the family electrician contracting company and expand the business. Now here I am working my own projects big and small together with my father & uncle to provide a great electrical service experience for you and the rest of NYC. :)
