Chelsea was a pleasure to work with and offered so many helpful pieces of advice. Our dog loved her and we appreciated that she was able to make a house call on short notice! Would highly recommend working with her — especially if you have an energetic, anxious pup.

Chelsea was very patient and informative with our dachshund that is reactive in our apartment’s hallway or when guests come over. We made a lot of progress in our 2 hour session and feel confident with what steps we need to do to continue training.

We’ve been impressed with Chelsea and how quickly we saw changes in our pup’s behavior. She guided us in how we communicate with h and present him with choices. His willingness to hang out outside our building (noisy, busy, anxiety-inducing) improved dramatically just 24 hours after our first session with Chelsea. We were blown away. Highly recommend!

Chelsea has been working with our Boston Terrier puppy for the last few months and feels like she has become a part of the family. Her training methods show results and her genuine love of animals is apparent from the outset. She went above and beyond when our BT was sick. I have been struggling with my oldest dog and her reactiveness on walks. I reached out to Chelsea to better get a handle on both my dogs with more of a focus on Pooka and she was extremely helpful! Not only did she give me great tips on how to reign Pooka back in on walks, but also gave analysis on both her behavior and her sister Truffles that gave a better understanding on what I need to do better as a doggy mom. This was the first training experience where I felt my dogs' personalities were taken into account. Both of them are very different and have opposing needs and Chelsea navigated those needs perfectly. I highly recommend her services to anyone who wants a more hands on and focused experience!

Sundog provides high quality, personalized services tailored to meet your individual needs. We create custom plans, packages and offer discounts for monthly or bulk sessions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to hear about your relationship with your dog; both what you like and what you want to change!
I encourage potential clients to ask questions, visit my social media pages, watch my videos before they decide to hire me. Once they feel comfortable with my approach, fill out my detailed history form so I can look over the specifics of the case before scheduling.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Behavior and Behavioral Psychology, a CPDT-KA from the Certification Council of Pet Professionals, and I continue to take classes, read books and stay up to date on the most recent behavior and training research.
