My husband and I are so thankful for DJ Byrd and his work! He was our DJ for our wedding this past September and he was AMAZING! He had everyone grooving to the music even before the actual "dancing music" started - from the cocktail hour and through dinner, DJ Byrd had all us jamming! And I believe this is because, from when we first met and spoke on the phone, he cared to ask and attend to exactly what kind of music I/my husband/guests enjoy. I sent him playlists of the songs we wanted for the cocktail hour, during dinner, and dancing and he did so well playing what we all loved! It was clear when we first met that he has much experience and knows what he's doing. Leading up to the wedding, we spoke a few times on the phone about how I wanted the flow of the reception to go and it could not have gone better - I didn't have to worry about a thing. He is organized and comes well prepared- he had everyone's name in my bridal party rehearsed so that announcing their names/order of how they would be introduced would go smoothly as well, and it did. Music is so vital for the vibe of reception, and DJ Byrd understands this! His setup/sound is professional, topnotch and classy and his lights just added so much more to the fun of the evening! DJ Byrd made my wedding a defínate hit! Everyone had an amazing time and the music was great! He was able to pleased 2 different crowds (American and Latin). He followed all my instructions to the T and was incredibly patient with me. He was also my MC and did an incredible job. Everyone told me how awesome my wedding reception was afterwards!

DJ Byrd overall did a great job. He showed up early and entertained our wedding very well. Same with other reviews, it can be difficult to communicate with him and we emailed our preferences for certain songs, but he still needed it to be reviewed on that day and our recession song wasn’t what we picked, but it didn’t really matter. So emailing and speaking on the phone doesn’t exactly eliminate confusion, it’s better in person. He did entertain everyone and that’s why we gave him 5 stars. If you can overlook communication issues, DJ Byrd is a great DJ.
