- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In addition to the hourly rate, I require a $100 deposit to save the date which goes toward to overall total. $50 for travel/equipment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After talking to a customer and they decide to book, I will send a basic contract so we have the agreement in writing. A few weeks before the event, I will contact the customer to confirm details and music. As far as music goes, I generally need a couple days to prepare a playlist that the customer provides, which I can work directly from or use it as a guideline to work off from.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been DJing events for four years, over 60 in total, and have been making mixes since I was in high school.
