FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love hearing about our client's vision for their event before providing them with a quote. If they would like to proceed, they fill out a deposit form and we create a customized menu for them. The deposit form does not mean that the client is committing to the initial menu we provide for them- but it just means that they are committing to working with us for their catering needs. From there, we can edit the menu as much as the client sees fit to make sure that all of their desires are accounted for. We can also handle rentals, staffing, beverages, coffee & tea service, takeaway treats for guests, table design, and disposables if needed as well.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We provide private chef services for various families and artist retreats in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Hamptons; provide catering in corporations, schools, community art centers, and private homes for birthday parties, baby showers, weddings, bat and bar mitzvahs, seasonal brunches, dinner parties, cocktail parties, etc.; as well as provide nutrition and holistic wellness mentorship for curriculum, mentorship programs, and individuals.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's helpful when clients come to us already knowing the type of meal they want to have catered (breakfast, brunch, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, snacks, etc.), the number of guests (rough estimate), if the group has any pertinent allergies or dietary restrictions, the venue location and details (if there is a stove, oven, fridge, sink), and if they need any additional services such as rentals, staff, eco-friendly disposable plateware, bartender service, etc. It is also extremely helpful when clients have an idea of their budget and let us know it ahead of time.
