Bait and switch. Showed up and told me that the estimate they gave me on thumbtack was just for steam cleaning but none of the stains I provided photos of would come out. I asked, prior to booking and was assured that yes they could get them out. Booking guy spent 30 minutes with me on the phone talking about stuff unrelated to my inquiry. Like, we aren’t friends, I am trying to book a job. He acted like he was the owner. When they told me it would be 600+ dollars I was floored. They also wanted to charge me more for the steps but the steps were in the original estimate. They said they “guy on the phone was only allowed to give out steam estimates and water doesn’t clean anything”. What? If you want detergent used it’s 3x the price. Net net, when they came to my house they told me that it would cost 3x what the estimate provided was and were acting like I could not look into other options. That’s why they were wrong. This wasn’t a last minute emergency - I had a backup who saw the same pics and gave me a firm price. While I was calling the other provider they kept blowing up my phone. I told them to leave. I will only go with providers on here you have significant ratings. Use at your own risk.
