Introduction
I understand how tough it can be to ask for help when struggling academically. I will work with you to pin point where you are having difficulty, specify a goal, and give you the tools to master the subject matter.
I started tutoring high school and GED students as a way to give back to my local community. I immediately fell in love with empowering students to conquer topics that they previously struggled with. In 2016 I began working as a peer tutor at the Manhattan College Center for Academic Success, where I recieved CRLA tutoring certification, helped train new tutors, and helped in the center's transition to offer online sessions. In May 2020 I earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Computer Science from Manhattan College. I currently offer tutoring services for mathematics courses, as well as writing, reviewing, and editing.

Sam has been nothing short of fantastic with my son. When I first used her my son had a test coming up. He just didn't understand how to do the work to get the answer. After his first tutoring session with Sam he received a 100 on his test. She was able show him in a way that made it easier for him to understand. I have used Sam again since then and I will continue to use her in the future.

I really enjoyed Samantha’s tutoring, there were lots a flexible time options. She is friendly, patient, and helped me improve in my pre call skills. Would recommend to anyone.

I wouldn't have passed Differential Equations without Sam! Her tutoring sessions were always helpful especially before my exams

Samantha is so knowledgeable about the subject and actually knows how to teach it to you in a way that is easy and comprehensible. I always enjoyed her tutoring services and I was able to achieve success in my calculus course because of her!
