Introduction

When buying a house, you are dealing with a ton of people with a vested interest. Realtors want you to buy for their commission, HVAC people want you to upgrade that furnace to a high-efficiency system and the list goes on. A home inspector is the one person in the process that isn't going to make anymore or any less money if you buy. We are an independent investigator with only your best interest in mind. My favorite thing about home inspections is the home itself. Some homes are over a hundred years old and strong as the date they were built. During my inspection, I get into areas that may or may not have been seen in dozens of years. It's like a trip back in time.

Kelvin made the inspection process seamless, swift and thorough. He's got a great online system for reviewing the inspection rundown that included excellent photo coverage of the property, a rating system for all components, responsible red flags and more. As an example, he noticed some very subtle moisture lines running down the side of a brick wall that happened to be under the ledge to a terrace. By looking at those lines, he was able to hypothesize that it was damage from years prior. Indeed the board minutes confirmed that he was exactly right. All in all, the result is a speedy form of reassurance that the property inspected was a green light. Hire this man!

Great experience overall. I needed a home inspection within 2 days before I sign the contract. Kelvin made time to come and check my future coop in Queens. During the whole process he explained every step to me and what can be considered major or what I can just fix myself. All rooms were rooms were inspected carefully. He delivered the final report the same day which is very detailed and has lot of pictures.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices start at $350 for most single family homes and $200 for most condos. Pricing will depend on square footage and/or multiple families units.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After receiving a request I will submit my pricing along with relevant information for what is included in my fee and what I can offer that my competitors cannot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over ten years of Construction Management, Operations management, and Home Inspecting. I am fully licensed by the State of New York and carry Limited Liability insurance as well as Errors and Omissions insurance.
