- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are typically between $325 and $500 depending on the age of the home, square footage and my travel time. I do also offer a 10% discount to veterans and first responders.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important thing with working with a new customer is to find out what areas are most important to them. For example the most important areas for a young family with toddlers might be child safety, for someone with asthma air quality might be a higher priority.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was formally trained as a Home Inspector at The New York School of Home Inspection and Construction in Rochester NY. I also take many continuing education classes through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. I have also done course work at Finger Lakes Community College and SUNY Empire State College.
