Very professional, organized, and did all the heavy lifting for LandMarks approval. Redid the whole roof, and installed the panels in a matter days. So pleasant to work with this crew.

I was against solar for 5 years having over 30 companies knock on our door. I researched them and wasn't for me at that time. Then came Bree Sallee project manager from Empower solar with her very professional knowledgable friendly attitude. I asked her two questions and she answered them correctly so i continued to let her explain how their system and company was different from others and how they approached with no pressure and no commitments. It was the best thing I can have done. From sales , project manager Bree Sallee, inspectors, engineers and install crew everyone was very professional. Installers stayed and double checked system to be working correctly. So far so good. Thank you Empower Solar & Bree Sallee highly recommended.Milton Velez

You will not get tax credit and they will damage your roof and charge you for it. Please see review before this

Everything seemed okay until you realize the tax credits they tell you about doesn't apply to everyone and it was never disclosed. They give you a bridge loan for the amount of tax credits with a crazy interest rate like 30%. Lo behold, you go to the accountant and find out the credits are non refundable. Irs will hold it on your file but never give you the cash for it. But in 18 months from install, younhave to pay the bridge loan otherwise you pay 30k interest on a 17k loan. Tried speaking to them and they go oh yea that why you should speak to a accountant before going solar. What??? All mieading and misinformation. And the company they use for financing will not help one bit. VERY UPSETTING AND MISLEADING. I would stay away. And other companies do offer bridge loans but they just add it to your normal payments without that interest upcharge. Do not recommend

We do understand that you met with your accountant on this beforehand, so we are sorry to hear about this new development. Generally, if you pay income taxes, it is likely that you will qualify for the tax credit, but you must absolutely check with your accountant beforehand. Note however, that even if you were not eligible this year, you may qualify in future years. EmPower offers various options to finance a solar system, and we guide our clients to choose what works best for them and their personal financial and tax situation.
