FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
*I offer a ‘New Student Startup’ package of 3 sessions to get us up and running. The 1st session includes an additional 15-min consultation to discuss your personal history and wellness-related goals. After those 3 sessions, I offer monthly packages or a 10-week program depending on your needs. I see students at a private space in Beacon, NY, and I will travel to neighboring locations in the Hudson Valley. Rates are dependent on your location. *For one-on-one and couples only. Ask me about group private sessions!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I invite every new client to hop on a free intro call so we can talk about your needs & goals. From there, I offer a package for new clients that includes 3 private sessions. The 1st session includes an additional 15 minute consultation that allows us to co-create the perfect, individualized plan for YOU! Once we've established that we will continue working together, I offer monthly packages and/or a 10-week program depending on your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive training (and teaching certificates) in both the Integral (2005-2007) and Anusara methods of hatha yoga (2007-2012). I'm certified to teach children's yoga (K-8), and have extensive experience and training in sharing mindfulness with educators and High School students. I've continued my professional development with trainings in trauma-informed yoga, restorative yoga, anatomy, therapeutic ball yoga (myofascial release), qigong (a Traditional Chinese Medicine mind-body practice), somatic movement, and breathwork. I devote a lot of time to studying a range of movement modalities that complement and enhance my teaching – amazing awareness-building practices like Feldenkrais, functional movement (MovNat), Qi Gong, Contact Improv, and Continuum. I'm also trained to teach mindfulness, and have a longtime personal practice of Vipassana meditation (as taught by S.N. Goenka) I'm committed to offering accessible and transformative yoga and conscious movement to students at all levels.
