After contacting company they wrote estimate for one price including all materials and actually listed all materials and time needed to do job and agreed to number and we asked for the proposal in email format. After waiting several days the email arrived with a 25-30 percent higher number and contractor states “ if we understood his opinion of raising the price “ finally after saying come by he cancelled and said it’s raining ( which is wasn’t) in our area . Ok then wants to know the nearest Home Depot to buy materials etc yada yada . We could go on and even told him we have more work to do but once Trust is broken by excuse after excuse and his proposal is not even in conformity with town/ village rules ; it was obvious NOT TO ENGAGE ANYMORE WITH THIS COMPANY. We use thumbtack exclusively but the vetting by them is really bad and even after homeowners ask simple questions to these contractors it’s a farce All we can say is might be easier and seamless if thumbtack vets their contractors instead of passing the buck on homeowners all the time So glad we discovered and uncovered the above nonsense this contractor tried to hoodwink us seniors

I showed proof that it was raining all day the price increase was due to having rent equipment to insure I could get the job done in a day. I contracted you multiple times to try to reschedule this job and do right by you. The price went from 1150-1400 when I sat down to punch all the numbers my expense came out to 1100 I still need to make a living here. I tried my best to help you. Please do not spread false information.
