Working with Michelle is a great pleasure! She prepares excellent lessons, makes you work to hone your craft, and is incredibly encouraging through it all. I’ve worked in theater for over 30 years as an actor, director and teacher. Voice over acting is an entirely different beast and, it’s very obvious that Michelle is a master in her craft. I enjoy every hour we work together and always look forward to the next session!

I am so Lucky to have stumbled upon Lina Rose Studios. Ms. Michelle is the best teacher I could ever ask for. She always is very flexible, working around my schedule. She is very supportive and sees potential that even I couldn’t see. She not only has taught and trained me with different areas of my voice and ranges, but she really makes sure I understand what I’m doing and how I’m doing it. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe everyone should be able to explore their love for the arts, which is why we offer a sliding scale for lessons. Please ask us about our discounts! We want to help you achieve your goals! If you recommend our studio to a friend and they begin lessons, you will receive a free lesson for spreading the word! We also offer trial sessions at a discounted price (available by request) to make sure we are a good fit for you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson will consist of getting to know you, your goals, needs, and concerns. We evaluate your skills and pinpoint areas in need of improvement and, from there, formulate a plan to help you achieve your goals. All lessons are customized to best help you. You will receive personalized exercises, assignments and technical coaching meant to help you hone your skills and help you succeed in your chosen field!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I, the owner, have a BFA in the performing arts from NYU and over 25 years of training in vocal and acting technique. I have worked with children and adults alike throughout the East coast for over a decade.
