Hi! I teach private lessons on bass (electric & upright), piano, guitar, songwriting, and music theory, both in-person and online. I graduated from NYU in 2020 with a B.M. in Jazz Studies, and have been working as a professional musician and teacher all around NYC since then. My students range from 3 years old to adult music learners.

My son has been learning piano with Nick for 8 months, starting summer in 2023. Nick is a super nice, patient and professional teacher. He has deep knowledge of music. My son enjoys the lessons with Nick and plays with him. Nick makes the lesson more interesting when talking about the theory. After the lesson, Nick always explains to me what the lesson is about and what should be focus on the daily practice. We love having Nick as the music teacher! We will continue to have Nick as our music teacher for my son and my younger daughter in the near future.

Simply Amazing! I could not have found a better music teacher for my son Christopher. Christopher has learned so much since taking lessons from Nick! He’s patient, kind and informative. Not only is Christopher learning how to play guitar, he’s also learning how to read music! Each lesson becomes a new memorable experience, it’s his favourite part of the week! I highly recommend Nick! He’s one of a kind.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started teaching when I was in high school, working one-on-one with younger bassists at my school and volunteering at the local elementary school. When I moved to New York, I began teaching private lessons on piano, guitar, and bass.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all ages of students, from 3 years old to retirees. All are welcome!
