Another contractor ghosted me. They were available to work right away which was great because I had been without floors for months. They ripped up old vinyl floor, installed new subfloor, and installed lifeproof vinyl flooring in 600 square feet (3 rooms) Lots of cut arounds with radiators and pocket doors. Also had a bathroom floor that also to be done and they were able to remove and reinstall an old clawfoot cast iron tub. So in addition to the flooring (which they did a great job installing) they were also able to do an additional plumbing project. They were also extremely nice and I would definitely use them again. Just make sure you have all the materials (including caulk/silicone) available. Since they aren't a big operation they don't have all the little materials (just the tools) on hand if you end up missing something. I ended up paying them a little extra to go to home depot and purchase exactly what was needed to make sure it was done right. They ended up working all the way until 9pm when they discovered an additional plumbing issue under the floor and had to make multiple trips to the store to resolve it. Again - would definitely use them again based on their handwork, professionalism, quality, and general likeability.
