FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a prospective client has submitted a request for tree care, Josh, the owner/operator, and ISA certified arborist at Silver State Tree Co. will contact them to schedule a free evaluation of the trees in question. After an in depth evaluation of the trees has been completed, recommendations for care, and an estimate for any services needed will be provided to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the owner/operator of Silver State Tree Co. I started my career in tree care in the USDA Forest Service. I attended extensive educational programs, related to forest ecosystems and health, and later implemented them as part of a skilled team that performed stand improvement and thinning projects to improve the health of our national forests. I later made a move to the private sector and took on an apprenticeship under an ISA certified arborist. I worked diligently for the next three years until I had earned My own ISA credentials, and take continued education classes to this day to insure that I provide industry leading tree care that is not outdated.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this type of work because I am an avid outdoorsman and have a passion for our national and urban forests alike. I take pride in helping preserve both for future generations to enjoy.
