- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide a free initial consultation for every potential client to ensure that we can accommodate your tax needs. During our initial consultation, we will discuss the services needed and request any documentation or information needed so we can provide an estimate of our prices (see pricing FAQs for more information regarding pricing). We will also discuss and set expectations regarding turnaround time for the work. Once the scope of work is defined and pricing is agreed upon, we will provide an engagement letter to be signed by both parties. Once the engagement letter has been executed, we will immediately begin work. At this time, we will request any additional information that has not already been provided in order to complete the project. As we work remotely, all communication will be done via email, phone, or video call. All documents are transferred securely via a secure file transfer link. All client information is securely stored and we ensure that record retention requirements are met if we are engaged for tax return preparation.
