FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $60 per hour or $40 per half hour. I require that the student bring a recording device to each lesson, record the lesson, and repeat the lesson each day. This ensures the fastest growth possible. The voice is made of muscles that must be trained and developed and strengthen and released. Prices in New York and LA for the same service are $150 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I evaluate their voice in the first lesson and design a specific game plan to reach target goals. It is my job to listen to a student, identify the problems they are having, duplicate that in my own voice and then design exercises to address those problems. I can build a voice from the ground up, or rebuild a damaged voice, and set a student on a lifelong vocal growth process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained in New York City under a student of the great Cornelius Reed, the foremost voice teacher in the world while he was alive. He is also The author of the Reed trilogy which brought Belcanto back into vogue in America. I have now passed on that vocal technique to hundreds of students throughout my tenure.
