- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Straightforward pricing: You only pay for the time your move requires, with no surprises (Moves with trucks have a one-time base fee plus the hourly rate). For moves with trucks there is a 3 hour minimum. For labor-only moving help there is a 2 hour minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Build your moving plan and schedule online or over the phone in minutes: Tell us what you need, and we'll tailor your moving services and match you with the most-qualified movers. Book for free and pay only a deposit after 48 hours. The rest is due once your move is complete. 2) Meet your movers: On the night before your move, you'll receive an e-mail that includes a photograph of each mover so that you’re greeted by familiar faces on moving day. 3) Relax while Bellhop carries out the job:Your lead mover will get in touch on the day of your move to let you know your team is on its way. Once your movers arrive, they’ll conduct a brief walk-through, take note of any special instructions you have, and then get moving. You will also be provided with a QR code to clock the team in and out, giving you control over the hours you will be billed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bellhops know how to read a room. Sure, strength is important. But it takes more than just strength to be a great mover. It takes experience and a great attitude. Prior to joining our platform, every bellhop undergoes a background check and a thorough interview process to ensure they: 1) Approach life with optimism and enthusiasm. 2) Show deep care for others by putting them first. 3) Work well with the team. 4) Constantly identify opportunities to improve and serve. 5) Get things done the right way even when it’s the hard way. 6) Complete the task at hand, at the highest level.
