Introduction

First, I must have the materials (textbooks, workbooks, graph papers, highlighters, and different color pens) and prepare for my students and ready to help. My work stand out from others because I often find other ways fix/solve the problem rather than "doing it only way" or most obvious way. This is critical for everyone who teach/tutor because clients/students expect us (teacher/tutor) to know other ways to solve the problem when student gets lost or confused. I don't use "obvious languages" (at times) because that's how got student confused in the first place. Therefore, I try to show why it can be done other way so that student understands it. One thing that is different from others is that I don't use calculator when I tutor (most cases). I like to show other ways to solve its problem. At the end, I want to be part of the solution (not the problem).

This was our first time for high school tutoring. He gave us a choice of 4 libraries to choose from which was great. He showed up and helped my daughter with several problems. We were very confused with her online school curriculum and he informed us that it’s a difficult and time-consuming approach to teach students which made her feel better because we thought we were crazy… He was very patient with us considering I didn’t have cash on me and had to run to the ATM and that we were unaware that handouts would have been better for him to see where the help was needed. Once we printed a few study guides, she was able to get a better understanding with his help. He even suggested getting used math books that could help her at home and sent links to us. We would definitely use him again if future sessions were needed.

Yohan is always on time and never late. He gets right to business and he is very efficient at what he does. It was very stressful to find someone that we could trust and to allow into our home but he has been great. He is patient and he does not rush at all. After the first session, my child showed improvement and she has been comfortable with him so far. Anytime we've had last minute changes, he's always been accommodating. I highly recommend for tutoring!

$20 minimum.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After I apply (or sending a Quote), I check my schedule and customer's schedule to see if his/her schedule fits to mine in terms of location and time of the day and day/days of the week. After this process, I meet with new customer (he or she) at their preferred location and discuss how much does student (he or she) knows about the subject.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have finished up to Calculus. I don't / haven't done either Statistics or Finite Math yet.
