To keep it short, I hired them the same day to do a job that was time-sensitive.  The person they sent did not seem to take the job seriously and was dropping things, it was his first day on the job.  When he broke something I asked the company if they were insured and shortly after the boss came to pick up the one kid that was working and left without saying a word to me.  When I did speak to someone they said that it is suspicious that I was asking about insurance (which they dont have) and the job itself and they don't do business like that.  But apparently skipping out on a job is an acceptable way to do business. The owner tried to make up for it later that night but ended up putting me in a worse position which he wanted me to pay to fix. I feel like I need to respond to your response. On the phone, when I called asking why your guy left, the owner told me that asking about the insurance and the multiple addresses seemed 'fishy and you don't do business like that' but apparently, you are fine doing business where you walk out mid-job without a word. The owner, the same person I was corresponding with the entire time, did come over to help after I mentioned a bad review however, as I told him that solution only resolved a problem you were the cause of. When you walked out on the job you left me with a Uhaul full of stuff I could not move myself and UHaul needed their truck back. The items were supposed to go to storage but they were closed by the time 'help' was offered so it all went into my home and garage and I had to pay to keep my puppy out of the house. That is not the only way you walking out on the job cost me money. If something does not feel right to you as a business, you have the responsibility to discuss it with your customer. You, as a business, and honestly, as a human being, have no right to walk out on a job and leave the person you agreed to help to pick up the pieces. It is unprofessional and immoral.
