I rescued a French Bulldog almost one year ago. She is the sweetest dog everexcept when it came to other dogs. Zoe, our seven-year-old pooch lived in a home with a very aggressive mini-pit and he bullied her constantly. When I try to walk her its a nightmare, she goes after any dog; from a Great Dane to a Chihuahua and forget taking her to the park or anything like that. We had an incident last week and I knew I needed it to be handled, I had no idea where to go since I clearly cant do group classes. Bark Busters were referred to me by a friend. Derek and Lissette came over last night and spent three hours with me and Zoe. I liken their approach to dog training as I would to conscious parenting. It was AMAZING! They taught me techniques that were so doable with zero aggression or anger and not treats but lots of praise. I was so impressed with both of them and my dog picked up on the training very quickly. This morning we got up, did our homework using their commands and suggestions and she did great! I feel like I have hope for my dog, which makes me so happy! Maybe next shell be able to make some friends. I highly recommend Bark Busters!

Our dynamic duo. Derek and Lisette have been volunteering hours not only with our unadopted dogs at the shelter but they have also offered a generous package of their time to our families that have adopted from us to make the transition to their new home softer. I have witnessed first hand the changes that they have made in the lives of our shelter dogs. I will also be the first to admit that I was skeptical of them at first, especially when I heard Derek speak with grunts and growns toward the dogs. These two have the gift of communicating with animals without the use of shock collars, pronged collars and treats. I can not stress enough that if you have your hands in the air from frustration or have lost hope that your dog is ever going to make the connection, please give Bark Busters a call. Derek and Lissette have been extremely helpful so far with my dog's training. I've only had the first 2-3 hour session with them which focused on educating me as the owner. They were very professional and safe. After doing the homework they gave me with my dog PJ for just one day he was walking like an angel on the leash I was shocked at how effective and responsive he was to their unique training methods. They addressed each of my dog's issues including separation anxiety, jumping on people coming into the house, dog/leash aggression, and reestablishing my place as the leader of our pack. Since I've seen so much improvement just in two days of training I can't wait to see how his behavior changes over the next five weeks!

Dog whisperer status! It's my 1st time fostering a dog & this little female Italian Greyhound came from a hoarding situation, then was in the pound for 3 months, then was rescued by Wagging Tails & now has come to my home. She has been thru quite a lot & was understandably scared stiff for the first 2 weeks at my home & wouldn't acknowledge my dog(also an Italian Greyhound) or any humans. She would not let people pet her or pick her up & she would often freeze & tremble out of fear anytime I walked around my home or even just spoke. Lissette came to my home & within 10 mins had the scared little rescue dog (Cosette) looking & listening to her & got her to come out of her hiding spot in my bedroom. Then only about 10-15 mins after that she was able to sit next to Cosette and pet her without the rescue IG shaking or running away. It was miraculous to see the potential in this little rescue girl and how quickly she responded to Lissette. I should've sought out guidance from Lissette at Bark Busters way sooner! Don't hesitate to get help from Lissette & Derek!

Derek spent a nice amount of time explaining the process on the phone to make sure they was a good fit for our family. He and Lissette are both very personable and included our entire family in the process. We made the decision to contact them as we had our puppy for four weeks (I'm a first time puppy owner) and I wasn't really sure how to handle and train her. Wow! We got an appropriate amount of information and strategies to use daily. She has responded so well & was noticeably calmer the next day. As we continue into day three of our homework, it's nice to know my husband an I are using the same cues that Derek and Lissette spent so much time making sure we understood & felt comfortable with as they practiced repeatedly with us. Im looking forward to our check-up with them in a few weeks to see if we're ready to move into the next level of learning as our puppy grows. I never ever thought I could accomplish what I have in three days as a new dog owner. I'm so happy I received an excellent referral to Bark Busters Las Vegas and I will happily make the same referral to Derek and Lissette! Thanks again!!
