- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
10% discount for current or former military service. Basic rate for sound/MC and music programming is $125/hour for the actual program time. Packages are available that include addons like dance lights, up lights, fog machine, karaoke and/or photo booth.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin with a free consultation phone call or face to face meeting. From the information gathered a detailed quote is submitted for review. If approved, a deposit of $150 is taken to reserve the date. A walk-through of the venue may be scheduled, music programming can begin along with any necessary coordination with the venue. All consultations, planning coordination, set-up and teardown time is included in the price quoted for the total program time. A performance agreement is also submitted to the customer for review and signatures.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Radio-Television from Eastern Washington University. I Worked as a DJ in Top 40, Country and Adult Contemporary Radio in the early 1980s. I've done voice overs for television commercials, as well as written, produced and been in front of the camera for local market TV commercials. I've also worked as the lead house DJ for a night club/lounge.
