Please note: We don’t repair other people’s furniture. We don’t install. Also, we are charged every time you make a request from us here. Please ensure you’re asking us for something we do. Edgewood Studio provides breathtaking contemporary organic furniture designed and built in the USA. Our work on the Thumbtack platform is limited to furniture built at our shops, and delivered or shipped to your home. We don’t offer installation services at this time, or repair furniture that is not our own. Our in-house designers and craftsmen work directly with clients, interior designers and architects to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces. Although we emphasize collaboration with local vendors and fabricators for materials and special fabrications of our designs, we also work with experts across the globe for special elements to ensure the highest quality products. We ship nationally, and deliver locally. We don't offer installation services for built in pieces, but can work with your contractor to have any built-in installed.

I ordered custom made panels for my panel ready appliances and Joe did an amazing job fulfilling my request His craftsmanship is superior and I have not one complaint regarding his work. He matched the cabinet doors and the paint to a tee. I am grateful I found him on thumbtack and would use him for anything else I ever needed I highly recommend him!

I was looking for some special gifts for friends and was interested in the multi-light tea light holders and cleaver cutting board. Joe helped me select each handcrafted product and I was very pleased with the excellent quality and design of each piece I chose. The gifts were carefully packaged and shipped as requested. Joe is easy to work with and I have recommended him to many friends. I will be back to explore more of his unique products!

We charge $75 an hour plus material for each job, and our quotes are based on this.

I have a Masters in Architecture, and studied at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine. I have also worked with and for many skilled artisans in the northeast.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve been working working in the realms of design, construction, and furniture making for almost 30 years.
