DO NOT HIRE!!! HE’S CLUELESS AND GIVES WRONG DIAGNOSES. My GE refrigerator was not dispensing ice, however it was dispensing water. Also my washer was leaking water. I hired Doku to do diagnostic and fix my refrigerator and also my washer. An hour after he arrived and probing my refrigerator, my water was no longer coming he told me that the issue with my refrigerator was the filter and I should get a very specific filter which would fix the issue. I was confused but went ahead to purchase the filter for almost $80. And Doku also demanded I pay $220 for diagnostics for both my refrigerator and washer which I paid. He inserted the filter he recommended I buy but the refrigerator was no longer bringing out water and ice. Doku left for couple of days to speak with the OEM meanwhile I was surviving on bottle water every day. Before he came back he said I will have buy 2 parts and pay him another $150 to fix it claiming this will definitely fix the water and ice so I agreed to him. He bought the 2 parts and when he tried to fix it, he told me the current parts in the fridge are working fine and no need to change them. God knows what he did and the water then starts working again but the ice which was the main problem was still not working. Before he left he told me I need to pay him $80 because the water is now working. I was dumbfounded that this guy does not care at all. He created a problem, fixed the problem and decided to get paid for it. After he left, the next morning the water he fixed stopped working again and I had to go to the store 6am to buy bottle water. Doku came back, hounding me that I must pay him his balance of $80 as agreed even though I explained to him the water he fixed has now stopped working. Next thing he said is that I’m playing games. DO NOT HIRE BECAUSE HES CLUELESS and has no empathy. All he wants is to get paid.

Communication was not clear. Attempted to charge an extra $20 of the service just to find the part. Was on unwilling to tell which part it is so I could order. As a result he lost my buisness. I will be hiring someone that can do the job and not have hidden fees attached. Diagnose fee is fine. Of your not going to order the part and the customer has to why charge them to find it or unwilling to give the serial number after pulling out the oven. This is how men take advantage of women but trying get more money. I am single mother this is not right. Now I have to pay someone else to come out. Oh and he only guarantees his work for 2 weeks. Be careful of that.

Hello Joy Snyder. I am not sure what you are referring to as "unclear communication". You have been messaging me about the same job for over 2 months then stopped messaging. You finally requested my services again after about a month of not responding. I diagnosed issue with oven and informed you part that need to be purchased. You requested I sweep behind the the appliance for you and also requested I pick up the dead rat for you, which i did at no extra cost. You requested I complete other tasks for you and I informed you it will cost you an extra $20. You informed me you don't have an extra $20 and I said okay. I am not sure how you been a single mother has anything to do with the appliance you need repaired. I have kids too if that's what you're trying to find out. It seems to me you've made a bad choice in selecting a partner so you think "all men" are like your bad choices and so you have preconceived thoughts already. I've tried my best to work with you but it seems nothing can please you. Hopefully you find a technician that relocate the whole cosmos for you. And Hopefully you can appreciate his little effort in doing it. Enjoy your evening!

Doku was very knowledgeable, worked efficiently and exceeded my expectations. He arrived early/on time and was considerate enough to wear shoe coverings. He was able to troubleshoot the problem I was having with my wine fridge. Upon his departure, he left me with a fridge that was operable! He even contacted the manufacturer and had a part shipped to me that I may need in the future.
