Doku was very responsive and was able to come the very next day to fix my microwave and check the electrical. He solved the problem even though it was complicated and definitely took patience! He even left to get a part he needed but came back right away to install and fix everything. Will definitely hire again

I would highly recommend Doku. He got in touch with me immediately after I put out a request, was very workable about my schedule as far as the appointment, showed up on time, and went right to work. We planned for 9AM Monday and he got in touch to confirm that we were still planning for that time.
After the confirmation, he arrived, on time and was friendly, and got right to examining the issue with my propane heater.
After a little bit of time, we agreed on the next steps to fix the problem, and the problem was solved.
He is a great guy, someone I’d trust to be in my home, was careful about keeping the door closed ( since I have cats) and was easy to talk to and joke with. I would recommend him to anyone who needs work to be done and thank you , Thumbtack, for making my first foray using your app a successful one

Doku did an excellent job!
He was able to diagnose the issue with my mother’s garbage disposal and willing did the work to purchase an updated version of the garbage disposal tank for me (he would be reimbursed). Nevertheless, we discussed the issue again and I decided that I would keep the old one because the kitchen was going to be redone.
After he worked on the garbage disposal he left….then I realized I had 2 other projects he could help me with. I called him and he was very accommodating and turned back around to help me. He was able to successfully diagnose the whole issue of what was going on with my mother’s shower and the light above the shower.
After diagnosing the issue with the shower…we realized I did not have the right plunger to unstop it and he went above and beyond and left to go get his plunger that worked great. After that he realized the shower drained needed to snaked out a little…that final touch got the shower working like it’s supposed to. Not to mention he was able to change the switch for the light as well as putting a new light. I thank him for going above and beyond. I will definitely use him again and I recommend that you do l, too! His prices are also reasonable.

Doku was very knowledgeable, worked efficiently and exceeded my expectations. He arrived early/on time and was considerate enough to wear shoe coverings. He was able to troubleshoot the problem I was having with my wine fridge. Upon his departure, he left me with a fridge that was operable! He even contacted the manufacturer and had a part shipped to me that I may need in the future.
