FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You are paying for me ... if you like my style and the results, the pricing will be fair.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have an initial consultation with you, usually by phone, to discuss what you are looking for, and to guide you on how to take a great photo ... this may involve choosing a location, clothing, makeup, posing, and to determine what you plan on doing with the images. Will you put them on social media, turn them into wall art, a photo album, or any other creative ideas you might have (its ok if you don't have any, I will have many!). Once we come to an agreement on what we are shooting, where, how, etc, the next contact is usually the shoot. I will get there early, check out the location, and be ready for you when you arrive. After the shoot, if possible, I would like to show you your images in person. I love to see the reactions!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken classes with Lindsay Adler, a well known NY fashion and portrait photographer. I have also completed a master class on portrait photography given by Clay Blackmore, a wedding photographer for the stars. I regularly go on photoshoots with other professionals to share tips and technique. As well as take many online courses with Sue Bryce, a nationally known portrait photographer.
