Dr. B has a knack for seeing what you do wrong and suggesting the tweaks to fix it. I have been playing tennis for 50 years and his help is one reason I've been able to keep playing and improving. He is great with beginners and kids you can see the steady progress his newbie students make. Kids love him.

I've been taking tennis lessons with Dr. Jones for over 2 years, and in addition to my game improving immensely, he is a wonderful coach and mentor. He brings his whole tennis life experience to the lessons and conducts them with support, guidance and expertise. He is especially good at celebrating the "wins" and using the other moments as a teaching lesson. He is a wonderful coach and teacher!

Bernie is an amazing tennis teacher/coach/player!! I honestly have nothing but great things to say about him and in my opinion he should be charging more. He constantly stays late or comes early to help teach. Can’t believe how lucky I have been to find someone as amazing as him!! Can’t wait to get my son into lessons next!

My price includes the cost of the lesson, the equipment used in the lesson, and the court fee
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I focused on assessing each student's game and skills during the first lesson. I then relayed information to each student to address opportunities to improve their skill level, stroke development, court awareness, court positioning, and strategy. I always make it FUN!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified tennis instructor by the PTR. A master racquet technician by the USPTA. Served as a tennis coach for NJIT. I have been teaching tennis since high school, 1975 - current! Achieved a scholarship to Port Washington Tennis Academy in Long Island as a junior player.
