Remya was very flexible to work with me from a remote location. She was able to get a sense of my current work space by video conference. She listened intently to understand the type of work I do and how I like to work. I got a complete design plan from her with everything from paint colors (including tips about white board paint) to sample images for furniture and lighting. Simply relocating my desk to her suggestion made a huge difference in my mood and productivity. When I had an issue with one of the blinds not fitting a French door, she was quick to rectify the issue and have the blinds re-cut. Remya has a wonderful sense of style and truly cares about creating spaces her clients will love.

I highly recommend Kitchen Designers to anyone who is looking for A good design. I was renovating a smaller kitchen with the intention of eventually selling/renting out the house. I went in with a pretty narrow-minded view of how the space was to be set up, but Remya was excellent in presenting different layouts, all with the cost effectiveness in mind. I got a design that was far better than I could have anticipate. Now the kitchen is beautiful and laid out with much better functional ease, which is important for a small space. I love the kitchen so much! Also, Remya and Subhash was so easy to work with and trust, and as someone who is busy and wanted things moving quickly and efficiently, they were more than accommodating; Thank you for a wonderful design! I am in soooo much love with my kitchen now .

Our kitchen and the powder room was designed by Remya Warrier. Her visualization and the planning were beyond our imagination. She is stuborn in the quality of the overall designing, choosing materials and implementation. She accomadated all our requirements and suggestions. She devoted time to choose all quality and beautiful materials for entire kitchen and the powder room and was very high quality for reasonable price. The output was magnificent!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I start out with an initial consultation for $300. I go to the clients home to understand their requirements and discuss options. After that depending on the conversation a proposal is submitted to the clients with 2-3 options based on whether the clients want to do part of the work themselves. The proposal is generally based on the amount of time it would take to complete each project. When its a longer bigger project, the clients can pay for 10 hour increments of time in advance for $125/hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I send a client questionnaire along with a welcome packet. If the clients are interested in finding out more, I start out with an initial conversation to understand their requirements. Moving forward I meet the clients at their home for 1 1/2hour at $300. Before I meet with them, I ask them to send me pictures of what the space looks like right now & how they want their space to look like. This gives me an idea of their style. After the initial consultation I write up a proposal for the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my masters degree and over 15 years of experience in the field. I have specialized in kitchen design for over 10 years. I'm very active in the design industry- have been part of ASID (American society of interior designers) and WCAA (Window Covering Association of America)
