FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If looking to hire our party service staff there is a 4 hour minimum and the service fee is $30.00 per hour per server/bartender. We do not allow tip cups. Gratuity is not included but at the discretion of the host. We recommend as you would in a restaurant, 18-20%. There is an hourly rate of $75.00 for event/party planning. If a flat rate is preferred we will provide a proposal of what will be included. Catering prices are dependent upon food choices, service style, staffing needs and necessary rentals so it's impossible to provide exact pricing. Our cocktail parties start at $35 pp for food only and a basic buffet begins at $40 pp however we will work with other budgets.

I am on the board of the National Association of Caterers and Events. I attend regular meetings to learn about new trends, new ways of doing things and where the hospitality industry is going. In addition I mentor students attending Hospitality and Restaurant Management Programs at local colleges. I also teach Weddings and Special Events at Bergen Community College to individuals who are interested in exploring the hospitality industry as a career path, career change or as an additional revenue stream.

I was well liked by my customers and as a result when I made the decision to work in a corporate environment and discontinued working in restaurants and for caterers I was asked by former customers if I'd come to their homes and help out.
