Daudi, who also goes by David, gave us a finished product that was beautiful. Our whole family loved the photos and we are going to give each other gifts of them for the holidays. During the session, David was patient, kind and provided thoughtful guidance, which was hard in our group that included three children aged five and under. In addition to satisfying those customers looking for great photos, hiring David will check all the boxes for those looking to support small, local, black-owned businesses. We highly recommend David for anyone looking for beautiful, classy family photos at the beach or otherwise!

Daudi is always a joy to work with! He is extremely professional, timely and responsive. During the shoot he engages well & even gives pose suggestions. He produces quality photos and his turnaround time is always as stated if not sooner. He knows how to capture the moment rather it be for headshots (indoor or outdoor) or even live shots at a party. I have worked with Duadi for my last 3 shoots. This man does not miss. He is the epitome of great customer service. I could only select three, but Daudi’s Photos also delivered on value and punctuality. I hired him for a business school social - roughly ~50 people at a Manhattan bar for 2 hours. This event was a networking event at a darker speakeasy style venue with a cocktail making activation as the anchor activity. David came with two cameras and was incredibly nimble in getting shots of everyone while letting conversations carry and pause naturally. He solves for volume and quality (often times you get one or the other), which made attendees feel like they came away from the evening with at least a few good shots. Editing was prompt, which we really appreciated (especially in the age of social media). What differentiates David is his ability to make everyone feel - and look - comfortable. I had used different photographers for prior jobs, and they didn’t have quite the same skill as David did on that dimension. He also has an eye for ensuring that everyone - of all sizes and skin tones - looks great. From smile to pose to skin tone (which is critical in darker environments like this venue), he made sure that people’s best came through in the raw photo all the way to editing. His focus on the person and their presentation really comes through in his work. I’d happily recommend David - and certainly have to a few friends and colleagues who have now used him!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is hourly with a 2 hour minimum, factoring the cost of travel and editing time. There are no extra fees unless travel is further than the allowance of 2 hours (driving). Flights and accommodation are covered by the customer, as needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Introduction and pricing, ending with a quote sent to the customer. Step 2: Once quote is approved, invoice is generated, due at or before the time of the event. Any photography services totaling $500 or more require a 25% deposit. At this time, Daudi's Photos does not provide refunds, but reshoots are available for customer satisfaction.
