Hi, I’m Janelle! I am an insured and bonded pet sitter, who is pet CPR/first aid certified. I have been sitting for family and friends for over 10 years. I am a lifelong cat lover, and have had cats in my life since I was ten years old. I have been caring for them on my own since I was 16. During that time, I have had the honor and privilege of being the guardian to 8 different cats. I currently have 4! Autumn-16, Cinnamon-7, Nemo-5, and Juniper-3. I love cats because they all have such unique personalities, and I love getting to know all of them as individuals. In addition, I have years of experience with volunteering for my local cat rescue Feline Urban Rescue and Rehab from the years of 2003-2010. I have been cat sitting for family and friends for the last 10 years, and I would love to expand into my community to help other cat lovers! I do have experience taking care of special needs cats and giving them medications. Additionally, I am certified in cat and dog first aid/CPR. I enjoy cat sitting because it gives me a chance to unwind after a hard day, and I love getting to know new cats, and their lovely families! What you can expect if you choose me as you cat sitter: 1. I will go the extra mile for you and your kitties! I am reliable and professional. 2. I will feed, give water to, play with, pet/snuggle (or respect your cats space), and thoroughly clean their boxes. 3. I have a great deal of flexibility in my schedule so I can keep your cat's schedule as close to your own as possible 4.. I will also pay close attention to the instructions you have laid out 5. I provide photo updates for each visit I can't wait to get to know you and all of your lovely cats!

Janelle was the best cat sitter I have ever hired. My very shy kitty actually came out of hiding for some petting. That has never happened before. It makes me so happy to know he was cared for by a fellow kitty lover. I will use Janelle again. Very reliable and loved the videos and pictures she sent every time she came to take care of my kitty.

We were so pleased with Janelle! She cared for our 4 cats while we took vacation in August. She took care of everything from feeding, to litter box cleaning, she even swept up! We were absolutely delighted with the quality of work, as were the kitties. Lady Jane came and spent time with the girls every day, played with them and cuddled a while - and sent us a note after each session with photos so we saw they are well. It gave great peace of mind!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on the number of cats you have, if any need medication, your distance from me, and the number of visits/how much time you would like me to spend each day with your cats.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you decide that you would like to hire me, we will set up a time and date for a meet and greet so I can get to know you and your cats. During that time I will ask you for care instructions, places your feline friends like to hide, any medication needs etc. Once we establish all of that, I will report to your house on the first day of kitty sitting, give you texts, photo and video updates for the time that I am sitting for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by the American Red Cross in cat and dog first aid/CPR. I also have my bachelors degree in social work, but have a passion for cats!
