From small things, like wiring light fixtures or installing ceiling fans, to installing new appliances, and everything between, they've been able to respond to any request we have. They take care of the permits, schedules inspections, he is also great with plumbing and electrical work. We have discussed potential renovations in our home and Connor (Payne) was very knowledgeable about what that would involve. We plan on contacting Payne Family Construction when we are ready to do this work.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started off by making sidewalks for my friends, dad’s company in Brooklyn New York. I went to work habitat for Humanity building houses in less fortunate areas. I started my own contracting business, because I have witnessed good people get taken advantage of and it’s my goal to change the stereotype of what a contractor is.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently was able to help a woman who was taken advantage of by a previous contractor who never told her she needed to pull permits. She didn’t realize it until it was time to sell her house and failed her inspection. Other contractors take this opportunity to take advantage of someone and I’m grateful I was able to link up with her and help her out. That being said the permit process is in fact a process. This did take some time to get finished
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
