Baker was very responsive and able to conplete all my electrical requirements for our old house. Him and his team were able to finish the work very quickly and added excellent features to my light fixtures, outlets and more. Baker was able to assess quickly the needs of our house and had very good solutions for replacing old fixtures, consolidating switches, adding usb ports, and recessed lighting. He worked through our entire house and helped us with replacing all of our bulbs with LEDs. His knowledge of different lights enabled us to make good decisions on what kind of lights we were looking for in the house. His knowledge was helpful and very informed. His flexibilty with accepting different payment types helped make that part very convenient. I would recommend him to all. Baker also suggested an excellent painter/plasterer who was able to complete the patching, plastering and painting afterwards. so grateful for the referral and supper happy with the end results

Absolutely STELLAR and confidence-building work ethic, communication and transparency. I ended up hiring Blue Electric after meeting with BAKER at our newly purchased Teaneck, NJ home. Having met with and receiving fast quotes from two other electrician companies (one with a much more expensive estimate and one roughly around the same cost as Blue Electric) it was a sealed deal for Blue to get the job I am not only a home owner that needed this done but I also own an interior design business but most of my trades people work in NYC and not much in Jersey so I needed a Jersey-local company. We bought and closed on the home at a time this past summer when locking down a contractor was close to impossible and ended up settling on a less than “good” contractor in the end. Complete night and day between the GC work and the electrical work. 1) Baker quote was broken down to a T, to the penny for every little thing (with the only unknown being how much the removal of the knob and tube wiring would end up being. Prices by the footage it was fair and I expected overages as it was not determinable how much knob and tube went through the house without opening up all the walls 2) The company I almost went with (which was much more expensive) wanted the work, claimed they payed for my permit before I even agreed to the contract (which I saw as an attempted guilt trip, only to find later no permit had been filed for anyway) and hadn’t done as thorough of an inspection as Baker had done not as knowledgeable of a breakdown of the work involved. The following was a testament to this: 3) Baker noticed the insulation wrapping the steam heating pipes along the basement ceiling as probably containing asbestos and told me emphatically “I will NOT under any circumstances let me crew touch any of this until you have the asbestos removed”. Baker even offered up some solutions for me to have this done. I too have a small crew that I value them and their well being over profits so that really hit home for me. Plus my wife and I have a baby due at the new year and I don’t want my kid running around with asbestos anywhere in this house no matter what the cost. Also let me know the other two companies either missed this completely or didn’t really care as long as they were going to get payed. 4) When the knob and tube removal and total rewriting of the house ended up being a lot more than the quote was I just reverted back to my friend Gabriel telling me “Eric, if you have knob and tube I’m telling you just expect to pay at least double whatever you think it is going to cost”. I homes could see the real caring for the fact that the quote ended up being so much more on Baker’s face. 5) Throughout the whole renovation process Baker saved our butts by pointing out and catching corners my contractor was either knowingly overlooking or clueless to. Having been a GC himself at one point this added knowledge was a life saver. From being in the same business I know one tradesman won’t step on another’s toes and will keep quiet usually if it has nothing to do with them but in these instances it was called for out of genuine concern. I honestly felt like I was getting not only top quality electrical work but contracting oversight and advice as an added bonus. 6) The ease with which the inspection process on the rough-in and the final inspection went was proof enough as a final straw. It was like the inspector knew if he is walking through something done by this crew he isn’t going to have much to look for in terms of mistakes. Passed both inspections without so much as a question on anything. All this said, I would not only REFER Blue Electric and Baker’s crew on your electrical work but I’m undoubtedly hiring them on any and every NJ renovation and interior design project I need an electrician for. Giving SIX out of Five stars to this crew plus three thumbs up on top.

Blue Electric did a fantastic job upgrading my electrical panel. The team communicated with me, answered all of my questions ( and I had a lot of questions ) and did the work in the estimated time they stated. The owner Baker is fantastic, he gave me the best price around and did impeccable work. He did such a great job i had him do additional jobs and referred him to friends. He left my house clean and labeled and tested everything before leaving. I wish i could give more than 5 stars
