Hey there! I'm Lo and I’m a wellness artist! That means my art suffers when I’m not doing well so, I advocate for the two to coexist while helping others tap into their inner child and artistry through holistic works. I've been a practicing yogi for 10+ years and teaching yoga and meditation for 3+ years, obtaining my 200 HR YTT in 2021.
I offer a uniquely personalized approach to each student's practice. I begin every session with a thoughtful personal check-in, followed by guided meditation where we honor ourselves and the land we reside on. This creates a sacred container for our work together while allowing me to understand exactly what each student needs in that moment.
What truly sets my teaching apart is how I weave together meditation, movement, and mindfulness into a carefully tailored experience. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach – instead, I meet each person exactly where they are on their wellness journey. After our flow, I create space for another check-in to explore how the practice has impacted both mind and body, and preview what's ahead for our next session. This comprehensive approach, tending to both physical and mental wellbeing while building lasting relationships with my students, demonstrates the care and intentionality I bring to helping each person thrive.
Dating back to my high school research paper on holistic therapies, my career in the holistic arts wouldn't be where it is without my talents and skills in writing. Before my yogi certifications, I obtained my BS in Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013. Since then I've written viral articles across platforms like Bustle.com. Having also served as a sensitivity reader and editor for short e-books and fictional works.See more
