Hi! My name is Tim Ward Jr. I'm a PA/NJ based songwriter, guitarist and singer, and I'd love to provide live music to enhance your event, whether it be a milestone birthday, a block party bash, an intimate wedding ceremony, a surprise engagement, or a cozy house concert. I've performed music live over the past 15+ years in many different settings, and some of my favorites have been private events, where I've had the privilege of being a part of those meaningful moments in people's lives. Depending on your budget, event type and space, I can play solo (guitar, voice, harmonica) for a singer-songwriter feel, or hire accompaniment (e.g. percussion, bass, additional vocals) for a fuller sound. Part of my package includes bringing my own sound setup as needed. My repertoire accentuates rock, folk, pop, and original compositions, and I've got the versatility to learn and play a wide variety of songs. Hire Tim!!! We hired Tim and his trio for a birthday party this past weekend and not only did he impress everyone at the party, he graciously agreed to keep playing an extra hour on the spot since we didn’t want the music to end. Tim took the time to learn several requests before the party and also had an extensive list of classics to pick from that the entire crowd loved. Can’t wait to hire Tim again for a party in the future. Thanks again Tim and crew!!

Tim is not only an incredible guitar teacher but a great guy who really cares about the student. He has the patience of a saint - especially when I have a million questions or if I feel like I am not grasping sometime. He is always knows how to help no matter what direction I am taking to learn. Tim really takes the time to get to know and tailors his lesson to your interests and learning style. If you have extreme ADHD like I do, Tim is the guy to have! He knows how to play the guitar and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from. He is a fantastic problem-solver, helping me move from feeling stuck to feeling satisfied playing a piece of music. I cannot thank Tim enough for the time and teachings he has given me.
