I started my career in officiating when I was asked to perform my best-friend's ceremony. It was an absolute honor to do so and the feeling of playing a part of their special day opened up my desire to continue to touch people emotionally by capturing their love story and the true essence of their relationship. I have always had a passion for writing and connecting with words so being an officiant has been a wonderful way to connect to my passion. My dedication to spending time with my couples to get to know them personally and get to know their beautiful love story is the essence of what creates this magical experience. With the information given, I then create the most intimate, fun and beautiful ceremony. We were in the process of searching for an officiant for our wedding day that would be able to provide a simple, engaging, creative, and meaningful ceremony for our ceremony that was within a reasonable price range. We came across a lot of officiants who we felt like we did not connect with us on a personal level and some that were too religious for our needs. Hazem was referred me to by another officiant who has been in the business for a very long time (her rates was above our budget). My husband and I proceeded to connect with Hazem to understand his background, his ceremony style, and his experience while Hazem also made the effort to get to know each of us individually and as a couple. We were initially hesitant to move forward with Hazem due to him being new within the officiant/wedding industry. However, we decided to take a chance since we really connected with him during our initial meeting. We are both very glad that we decided to take a chance with Hazem. He was very easygoing and a pleasure to work with. He provided us with the ceremony script in advance of the wedding for us to review and provide feedback/comments. He was very receptive to our feedback and comments, which allow an easy and smooth process. He also was very diligent with making sure he would be on time for our ceremony since it was almost 2 hours away from him, so he and his wife decided to drive down the night before and stayed at a nearby hotel to ensure he will not run into any issues with getting to the venue on time. The only caveat I would mention is, if you are like me and like to plan far in advance, you will need to manage/stay on up on Hazem to ensure you receive a draft of the script in advance of your meeting/calls in order to review and discuss any comments/feedback! We also received many compliments from our guests regarding our officiant, noting that he did a great job and spoke very eloquently during our ceremony!

Hazem went above and beyond. He made our wedding feel so intimate and genuine. I can say without hesitation or exaggeration that because of him and his hard work he was a big reason our wedding was the best day of our lives.

I'm not usually into giving reviews but with Hazem, I feel like it's only right. Hazem is very responsive and was willing to listen and accommodate to all of our needs to offer us the perfect ceremony. He also has this way that makes you feel like this isnt a business transaction and more like a partnership. And as for the ceremony, he absolutely nailed our relationship to a T that our guests thought that he knew us for years. Lol good stuff for sure... Thank you Hazem for a great experience and a memory that Jill and I will never forget. Highly recommend.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fair. I am negotiable depending on your circumstances but please keep in mind that this is your BIG DAY and you get what you pay for so although you may find a cheaper option than myself, they will not give you the attention and detailed personal ceremony that I can provide.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost I set up a remote meeting through Facetime or any other video conference app. This meeting would be to discuss your vision of the ceremony you are looking for and to get to know each other as people first. Then the fun begins where I would ask you both a series of questions to understand your love story. Once that is complete, I begin the writing process and connect once again to cover any other details that need to be discussed. Payment is 50% when committing to hire me, then the rest of the payment after the wedding is complete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed ordained minister with the Universal Life Church and received training from one of the best in the business. Reverend Dr. Sheila Gay Gross.
