Introduction
Hi, I’m Lana, the founder of Lana's Learning Lab! What started as a writing-focused tutoring service has now grown into a team of highly qualified tutors offering personalized support in writing, math, science, and more. We work with middle school, high school, and undergraduate students both online (via Zoom) and in-person depending on location.
With my experience tutoring at Rutgers University's Writing Center and my passion for education, I’ve built a team of expert student-tutors who specialize in helping students excel across multiple disciplines. Whether your student needs help crafting essays, mastering algebra, or understanding biology concepts, our tutors provide tailored lessons to meet their unique needs.

Essays were a little more demanding in college, especially because professors and TAs don't tolerate grammar mistakes and expect organized structure because they believe that's what you should pick up in high school. Lana assists me with organizing essays and making sure sentences and grammar are smooth and correct. She also helps me with brainstorming ideas and elaborating them into paragraphs. The skills I learned from her allow me to start faster and be less frustrated when doing my new essays.
