- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do 30 hours annually of continuing tax education. Thai is more than the 16 required by the Internal Revenue Service.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In College, I actually wanted to major in Marketing and be an International Marketing Manager. In the classroom, Marketing was not my forte, although, I still remember my Professor saying "Build a Better Mousetrap and the World will beat a path to your door." I want to build that better mousetrap. I found that Accounting came very naturally to me. I decided then that Accounting would become my profession.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be thorough and do your due diligence. Make sure you are getting exactly what you are paying for.
