- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Regardless of whether it is a song, audiobook, or music production, I'd like to first get an understanding of what you need and what the recording will need so a conversation before the recording process is imperative. Here we will discuss arrangement and the finer details of your project. I'd like to get an idea of what you are looking for so we can hit the target together. 2. Once you are ready to dive in, you will do a scratch performance where I will set levels, dial in any analog EQ, compression, etc, then we will be ready to record. 3. During the recording process, we will break the arrangement into sections so you can get each part as perfect as possible. I will coach you and give input when asked. 4. Once the recording process is finished (depending on the time remaining), I will set levels and add some light processing (fx like reverb, EQ, and compression) if necessary. 5. From here, we can discuss getting the audio fully mixed and mastered (for a separate fee) if distribution-ready is what you are looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been writing, producing, and audio engineering music for about 15 years now. I always worked on a small-setup or I would freelance on location until I finally built my own state-of-the-art studio with all of the equipment and accents needed to take things to the next level.
