JJD Masonry is family owned and operated. As the owner, I’ve been an active member of the bricklayers union since 2009 where I’ve gained extensive training and experience working commercial as well as residential. We specialize in smaller jobs including brick and stone repairs but also enjoy new construction like custom mailboxes and outdoor kitchens. We work with brick, block, stone , stucco, concrete and more. Our goal at JJD is to provide quality craftsmanship without cutting corners at a reasonable price. Marathon Masonry (Dante and team) were communicative and punctual. We bought an old house with cracks in the brick and stucco. He did a great job cleaning out the old mortar and repointing to make it look as close to invisible as you can with giant cracks in your house. He also rebuilt a corner of our garage that just wasn't salvageable. Finally, he did a thorough job cleaning up the site when he was finished. I don't know anything about masonry prices, but it definitely felt like I was charged more than fairly for the work he put in. I would hire Marathon again.

Existing brick and brick and paver steps needed repointing. Donte and Gerald knew just what to do to fix the cracked mortar between some bullnose pavers. Donte also recommended a better solution to fill the gaps between steps. So for just 50$ more, the repairs look great!
