Janice was amazing to work with. She was super responsive from the start. The whole time she was at our party, she was making balloons and facepainting a range of simple to quiet complex creations! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for private parties is hourly and travel fees are calculated roundtrip from downtown Metuchen, NJ.
To officially book a date, I require a 50% retainer and a signed contract.
If you are holding a festival or other public event, please ask about alternative payment structures.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to get to know my clients a little bit - what designs are they looking for? Is this a themed party? How many children?
Then once we settle the fine points, I will send my contract and retainer information. Both a signed contract and 50% retainer payment are required to book the date. Final payments are due the day prior to the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained at the Makeup Designory in NYC for theatrical makeup and then trained and worked at NBC Universal’s Trolls: the Experience as a face painter. They even sent me out to Los Angeles to paint for the premiere of the second movie!
