I have been taking piano lessons with Chris Banka for 2 years and I am thrilled with my progress and ability to play. I never had a lesson or read music before. Chris gives me important background and technique that is a foundation for learning. The exercises each teach a skill and Chris adds insight from his extensive training. I give my first lesson for free and do not charge cancellation fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first lesson is always free. I get a sense of the student and they get a sense of my teaching style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in piano performance from the Mannes school of Music based in Manhattan. I received my bachelor’s of music from Florida State University.
