Hi! My name is Illysa Hom and I am excited to learn more about you and where you are at in your fitness journey! I am a Jersey girl born and raised that loves to dance, teach, train, connect and help people like YOU reach your fitness and wellness goals. I love seeing my clients achieve goals they never imagined possible before! My passion is helping people get stronger, learn how to perform exercises properly and to make fitness a feel good lifestyle.
As my client you will have the option to do weight training, core work, balance, plyometrics and even Zumba and Muay Thai boxing all in 1 hour! My coaching experience ranges from balance training, weight loss, toning to triathlon preparation. See my before and afters! My approach is to provide caring, supportive, engaging and effective sessions. I will push you to reach your fullest potential! I hold you accountable even on your off days. I believe everyone has unique needs, bio individuality and timelines.
My holistic approach is that everyone has unique bioindividual needs, lifestyles and goals. What works for someone can be toxic and unhealthy for another person. Holistic means we will work together to identify how all areas of your life are connected to your overall sense of wellbeing. I will tailor your workouts based on your lifestyle habits. Is your relationship causing you to stress eat? Is your busy desk job leave you sitting 8 hours a day? Do you have trouble sleeping that leads to low energy? I want to help you create space for healthy behaviors and choices.
I will not encourage calorie counting or obsessing over every food you eat. Instead, I want to inspire you to find balance, joy and nourishment from your meals and snacks and exercise. Every training package comes with a complimentary meal plan written by a registered dietitian. I want to inspire you find ways to be physically active that you look forward to and can sustain. I encourage you to practice positive self talk to help keep you in track.
