Music Entertainment: Preforming is my passion and I’ve been making a living doing it for years now. I can play solo Jazz Guitar or acoustic for Cocktail hours, Wedding Ceremony, and other similar events. I also have a full band if a client would prefer that for wedding receptions/private parties. The range of music I play varies from top 40 hits and Rock to Disco, Motown, jazz, and many more. I also take requests for any events I am hired for. I can teach students of all ages and levels. I am able to editing video and audio for most small and medium sized projects and even shoot video for some smaller projects such as music play throughs, commercials and PSAs. About Me: I’m a professional touring and session musician. A multi-instrumentalist with experience in multiple genres of music including Metal, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Blues, Funk, and Fusion. When I’m not on the road I work as a wedding band musician employed by Hank Lane Productions, as a music teacher, and as a songwriter/composer for TV and Film. I reached out to Justin with a special request… I needed some help editing a sound clip which my late sister in-law left for her only daughter. The recording had some background noise which I wanted to remove before giving it to her daughter. Justin responded within minutes of inquiring if he could work on it. Before the end of the day, he forwarded the edited clip to me and it was just what ai wanted. He was very attentive and understanding. It is very much appreciated!!

We had some old tracks that he could bring up in Pro-Tools. We recorded some vocals and guitars over these tracks, and he was able to take tracks from 20 years ago and make them sound good with tracks recorded today. He has an excellent ear for music (several of our melodies he could pick up and play on piano almost instantly). He also has an excellent command of the programs he uses to record, engineer, and produce music. And he’s interesting. All in all, a good experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether it’s teaching, songwriting, recording, or filming I generally ask the same questions on day one, what is your goals with this project? From there I’ll ask service specific questions (Teaching, songwriting, etc) which will then help us develop a plan to get you where you want to be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Commercial Performance and a Minor in Audio Recoding but that’s not what my clients hire me for. I have over a decade of experience in the industry, teaching and playing, and have been playing music for nearly 20 years. I’ve played in Cover/Wedding bands to original rock and metal bands that have toured the country. To me, a degree is nice but the experiences and the knowledge I’ve gathered through years of working in this field is what I’ve found has given me the most success with helping my clients reach their goals.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Currently working with a few singer-songwriters recording their albums, each with varying styles from 80s style Depeche Mode, NIN, to alternative rock. Average time for me to write and record a song takes 3-4 hours.
