Hi! I’m Sara of Sara Wells Calligraphy (formerly Moonstone Calligraphy). I love helping clients elevate their events with beautiful calligraphy, hand engraving and bottle painting. I started my calligraphy journey in 2018 and began a business in 2020 and recently rebranded in 2023. Calligraphy was something I jumped into as a way to relax at the end of the day with a fun and elegant hobby. I couldn’t imagine that over 4 years later I would have a business doing what I love. Being able to showcase my skills is the heart and soul of my business, and I love helping people create an extra special gift/keepsake that will be cherished for years to come. I had never had any calligraphy done before… I could not believe how beautiful the work was… and Sara kept me updated every step of the way. This calligraphy was for my first grandbaby’s room and she did several pieces for me and they look amazing. Seeing how beautiful the calligraphy looks, I know I will have more pieces done and I will always go back to her… She gets five stars in my book

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’m 2018 after the birth of my son, I wanted to find a way to connect with my creative nature. I ended up watching a video on pointed pen calligraphy and fell in love. After that I began taking courses to develop the skills and opened up my business in the end of 2020 (Moonstone Calligraphy) and in 2023 I rebranded under Sara Well Calligraphy.
