Looking back at our wedding day, I can say with absolute confidence that hiring Paddy Kaye Music was the most successful element of our hectic 3-day wedding. Not only did he go above and beyond with his equipment set-up, seamlessly transitioning between live performers sound set-up, MCing, and keeping the dance floor running, but he also extended himself with ANYTHING we needed for general event flow and facilitation. We also had a "baraat" procession which required music and dancing down an entire block (photo below), and he brought extra portable speakers for this unique element. He troubleshooted various day-of problems, he put out several fires, and lent a hand wherever needed. He even proactively anticipated several problems that no one else thought of and saved the day on several occasions.
He had a very calming presence which gave me complete confidence that he had everything handled and I didn't have to worry about a single thing regarding music and sound system. He was a family favorite and everyone was gushing over "the music guy" and how great the music selection and ambience was. He is extremely attentive and intuitive, anticipating and observing bride and groom and their immediate families in case we needed something. On many occasions, all I had to do was make eye contact with him and he was already solving my concern.
Granted, our wedding was somewhat casual and many things were roughly organized, and Paddy carried the weight of it all on his shoulders to make sure we had a blast with no worries. He also seemed to have fun too! The music and dancing was the highlight of our wedding and many of our friends commented that the energy that the sound provided was unlike any other wedding they'd been to.
I cannot recommend Paddy Kaye enough. I'd choose Paddy Kaye every time for any function, he provides excellent attention to detail, caters to your style and preferences, and makes any event a success.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am more flexible with pricing for gigs that are closer to home and have smaller request lists. I have done a lot of work running events, so you’re paying for both the music and my ability to keep the show going!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found music when I was about 20 years old and was playing on a back porch. Someone asked me to open a show and when I realized I was getting paid, my life changed! Now I’ve got 10 years of experience and have learned a ton since being an opener.
