Hello, I’m Miss Emily based in NJ/NY! I have been teaching piano for more than 10 years and I’m Steinway & Sons education partner. I was an adjunct faculty at New York University. My students come from all over the world, ranging from 3 years old to adults with all levels. I place emphasis on individuality in learning and provide hands-on, tailored instruction, and I guarantee to provide piano lessons in a fun and easy way. The music genre I teach is not only classical music, but I also teach popular music and music theory. Come and have fun piano lessons with me!
Here is the rate:
$40/per 30 minute lesson (Remote)
$60/per 45 minute lesson (Remote)
$45/per 30 minute in person lesson
$70/per 45 minute in person lesson
$90/per 60 minute in person lesson
Please note: All lessons should be either remote or in my studio in Jersey City. We don't offer in-home lessons.
About Emily Ho
Emily is a solo pianist, chamber musician, educator throughout North America and Asia. She received her master degree in piano performance at New York University.
Emily has won awards all over the world, and her performances have been presented in several countries. Her piano album “Dreamland” was released in 2018 and received great hits and positive media reviews from Asia and North America.
As a virtuosic pianist and educator, Emily was an adjunct faculty member at NYU and has been teaching piano for over ten years to students ranging from 3 years old to adults. She persists in developing each student’s potential to the fullest and believes that the most important aspect of teaching music is creating an individualized learning environment and teaching the necessary techniques and knowledge.
Emily also maintains a private studio, teaching private piano lessons, music theory, ear training, and music composition. Students who have studied with her come from a wide range of backgrounds and countries with different goals. Emily enjoys working with complete beginners as well as advanced and professional students. Her lessons tend to be somewhat casual but are structured to meet the unique requirements of the student.
